What is the difference between reveal fixed and face fixed?

Reveal fixed – the barrier is to be fixed between the walls of the opening .

Face fixed – the barrier is to be fixed across the front of the opening.

 

How do I install the flood barriers?

All instructions relating to the specific product ordered will be supplied along with the barriers.

 

Flood barriers or sandbags?

Sandbags can help to slow the water down but over time it will eventually leak through.  Depending on the number of bags required, the time of assembly can be quite lengthy and physically hard work. Sandbags weigh around 15-20kg per bag and a doorway may need  20-30 bags to be in place. The weight and the storage can be an issue for some, wet bags are difficult to store and they are often discarded, as apart from the storage issue they can become contaminated and therefore are not usually re-usable.

 

Our flood barriers are typically installed in just a few minutes, they are lightweight and come in sections which are easy to handle and easy to store.  They are designed for repeated use over many years.
